Below is an organizer I use to provide choices to the literacy groups I see twice a week. Depending on their general reading level, we may focus on alphabet, word families, making words, or sight words games. We usually spend about 10-15 minutes on word work, and then the rest of our time is spent reading their group’s guided reading book. More details on that to follow.
