Mrs. Swords

A few months ago, Mrs. Swords’ and Ms. Corisdeo’s classes entered a poetry contest at http://www.anthologyofpoetry.com.  We are happy to announce that more than half of our students will be included in the Anthology of Poetry’s printed edition this summer!  We are so thrilled that so many of our students were considered for the contest!

Students should be on the lookout for letters from the Anthology of Poetry organizers that will be sent to their home addresses.  The organization is requesting that the parents sign a permission slip to allow their son or daughter to be published in the printed edition.  Parents also have the option to purchase an anthology, if they choose to do so.  There is NO obligation to purchase anything, but parents ARE obligated to sign the permission slip and return it to Anthology of Poetry so students can be included.

Thanks to students for all their hard work in every contest we have entered.  Our classes have participated in at least four different contests so far this school year, and we are finally starting to see a payoff!!  Congratulations!
